The materials funded through this project were used to create tutus and costume pieces for our end-of-year performances at the school Block Party and our closing assembly. For many of these kids, this was their first time performing in front of an audience — and they did it dressed the part.\r\n\r\nThe moment the students first saw the tutus, the room absolutely erupted. There were squeals of pure delight, kids spinning in circles, and one student — beaming from ear to ear — looked up and said, \"Now we are real ballerinas.\" That moment said everything. These costumes didn't just add sparkle to a performance; they gave our students a sense of identity, pride, and belonging in something they love.\r\n\r\nLooking ahead, our Ballet Club will carry this momentum into next school year. With costumes waiting for them, students are already excited to continue building their skills and performing together.
