I have numerous multilingual students in my groups and being able to see the colored pictures really helps them visualize what the story is about. \r\n\r\nThese stories, in particular, are filled with multi-syllabic words that students are learning how to read and comprehend. Each syllable type is special and my students are able to use strategies they have been taught to sound out numerous multi-syllabic words.
