We are so grateful to be able to have a smart board in our mathematics classroom. Having technology like this helps us increase engagement with our standards. Students are able to do more interactive lessons and activities with the use of such technology. \r\n\r\nWhat is most exciting about the smartboard for my students is that they get the chance to use technology in a new way. They are used to using chromebooks, but being able to express their understanding using drawing and shapes has been a great way to incorporate more engagement amongst my students. \r\n\r\nI have many students who have a hard time with group work activities. Most of the time this is due to not wanting to rewrite everything down or not knowing how to contribute do to misunderstanding.
