I have a large group of kiddos this year and am working every way possible to make learning fun and engaging. One of the foundational skills for reading is identifying the first sound in words/objects. The sorting objects you have provided for my students is an A+ way to practice identifying first sounds.\r\n\r\nThe students absolutely love pulling objects from the mystery box and then placing the object on the sorting mat to identify the letter that makes the initial sound in that object.
