Because of your kindness, my students now have access to tools that help them stay focused, calm, and ready to learn. We are using these resources every day during independent work time, small group instruction, and transitions. One especially meaningful moment happened during a writing activity when a student who typically struggles to stay seated used a fidget tool to remain engaged for the entire lesson. This allowed them to complete their paragraph with confidence—something that had previously been very challenging.\r\n\r\nWhen my students first saw the new materials, their excitement was immediate and heartfelt. There were smiles and questions as they explored each item. Several students eagerly shared which tools they thought would help them most, and it was wonderful to see them take ownership of their learning in this way. Even students who are usually hesitant to try new things were curious and willing to engage, which created a positive and inclusive classroom environment from the start.\r\n\r\nThanks to your support, we are now building on this momentum by incorporating these sensory tools into more structured learning routines. Our next steps include teaching students how to independently choose the tools that best meet their needs and reflecting on how these supports help them succeed. Your generosity has made a lasting impact, and I am so grateful for the opportunities you have created for my classroom.","fullyFundedDate":1767669190270,"projectUrl":"project/sensory-supports/9969521/","projectTitle":"Sensory Supports","teacherDisplayName":"Ms. Neumiller","teacherPhotoUrl":"https://storage.donorschoose.net/dc_prod/images/teacher/profile/orig/tp10066432_orig.jpg?crop=2316,2316,x0,y370&width=272&height=272&fit=bounds&auto=webp&t=1751491095056","teacherClassroomUrl":"classroom/10066432"},{"teacherId":10066432,"projectId":9777289,"letterContent":"Thank you so much for your generous contribution to my elementary special education classroom. These games have already become a meaningful part of our daily routine, helping students practice important skills such as turn-taking, problem-solving, following directions, and cooperative play in a fun and supportive way.\r\n\r\nWhen the students first saw the new games, their faces lit up with excitement. Many of them eagerly explored the materials, asked questions, and could not wait to try them out. These moments of joy, connection, and confidence are exactly what we hope to foster in our classroom.\r\n\r\nThanks to your generosity, our next steps include using these games to support ongoing lessons in social skills, math concepts, and language development.
