This can be a difficult task. Thank you for your support. It has a big impact on me that there are people out there willing to support education, but it really is very impactful to the students. \r\nI saw their eyes light up when they got to choose their book and join a group and read something they are interested in. They had their own copy that wasn't falling apart and were able to focus on their reading.\r\nI have heard some great conversations and opinions that have come from their reading. They are making connections with people that they may not have otherwise made. I hope that when they look back on their last year of elementary school, this will be one of their memories and they will see the value in what you have done for us. Today's students deal with a lot of inconsistencies and unknown's in life. Your donation towards the doodle boards has been so helpful. Kids literally do not have to search for their pens and then wait patiently for me to go find them one that still works. You have helped streamline my math instruction and their independent practice. When it's time to start, everyone is ready!\r\nI know it doesn't seem like much to many, but it is HUGE for our students. Just having consistency and less distractions getting ready has made a difference for most of these kids. The technology you helped fund for us opens up a whole new door for kids to participate in classroom discussions. \r\nWe have been fortunate enough to get smartboards in our classrooms that have increased student engagement, but with the remote controllers that you donated, the kids (and I) have the freedom to engage from anywhere in the classroom.\r\nThis is so wonderful because they are eager for their turn and paying close attention to the lesson so they are ready when it is their turn to navigate the board from their seat\r\n\r\nI know to some this may seem like a silly thing, but in today's classrooms, children have trouble focusing, paying attention, and getting excited about the day's lessons.
