I explained to them that Earth day will always be on April 22nd, and the next time they get to hear about it they will be in first grade. Scholastic lets find out is a great way for kids to learn, engage, read, explore, and make connections to real world events. We watched the scholastic learning videos, read the magazine, played the brain break/earth day brain break, game, and even made earth day hats that went along with the magazine. I love using scholastic to help all kids learn and TPT has been a great resource to find extensions, crafts, and more useful learning tools to use in the classroom.
