These books are not only engaging but also offer practical examples of kindness in various contexts. It was quite wonderful to see my first graders identifying kindness in different settings and social situations after listening to these amazing books. \r\n It was inspiring and heartwarming to see my students in discussion about how to demonstrate kindness, empathy, and compassion to others, completing two activities focused on the kindness theme. First, students generated kind words, which they wrote on hearts in a kindness jar. They then distributed these jars to teachers and staff members on World Kindness Day. Secondly, following a read-aloud of \"Our Class is a Family,\" we illustrated our class as a family and created a bulletin board for daily inspiration. \r\n The generous contributions from donors like you made it possible for me to instill the value of kindness in my first graders, giving them the opportunity to cultivate kindness early in their educational journey.
