By using your donations for small group rotations and for creating math game stations, I have been able to create an environment where students actively are seeking out math practice through games which were provided through your donation. I have also been able to create SEL games and strategies if you see the chair! The students had to pick a student to pass a kudos too and this was after this student was having a hard time and everyone rallied around him. Along with those, are headphones that actually work, which helps my students when they need literature, read to them or throughout testing periods or through research activities. Lastly, through the amazing gift of new book sets many of my new students are picking up series that they have never had an opportunity to read before and loving them every step of the way.\r\n\r\nI wanted to end my gratitude with a little story. I had a student who disliked math very strongly. Me being the math teacher, they struggled throughout the year to find a passion for math. After I started, including incorporating math games that were utilizing your donations, I noticed a real change in the student. They still struggled with math, but they genuinely wanted to try. By the end of the year, I received that note from the student and they were able to successfully understand a concept that they had struggled with all year. The student literally squealed when they got it and ran around the room, saying \"YES! I understand! I finally am getting these right!\" To see the joy on her face and share that moment with her meant more to me, than I believe you will ever know. Your donation not only changed that student and my future students but it also changed me.
