We also made imaginary creatures that illustrated the characteristics of life.\r\n\r\nIt is so meaningful when students come to school and have the materials they need to get started. If I can make a 3D-printed artifact part of a project, it can help to engage them but also it adds a layer of authenticity to the engineering process because they can work through all the steps including fabrication.
