Teaching in a special education classroom where kids have so many different needs, it helps to have materials. The majority of my student need social emotional time which varies. Having materials such as the geo blocks and kinetic sand allow them to self regulate. \r\n\r\nThe biggest hit is actually the smelly stickers. After groups students are able to pick one sticker and they love the smelly ones. It is great because they know the routine of where to find the stickers after group. The little spot of feelings is also a huge hit especially the little stuffed emojis. The poster it came with is a huge hit with students picking how they feel. \r\n\r\nHaving a selection to pick from is super helpful because not everything works for all students. Some students prefer the kinetic sand while others what the little spots.
