Each year my Spanish 4 class embarks on a Day of the dead project where they honor a loved one that has passed. Within this project they build an Ofrenda or Alter to cherish memories, memorabilia, and photos. \r\nWith your donations we were able to create beautiful colorful alters! The clay was used to create mini versions of the food and activities their loved ones ate or liked to do was amazing. We were also able to use the dictionaries for creating our speeches about each loved one.
