We use our Chromebooks to access our Google Classroom assignments and for writing our stories and essays. Having a way for us to charge our technology is a huge gamechanger. There were several books just about identity to foster appreciation of self and others. Some books were multilingual, English and Spanish. These help my Spanish-speakers better learn English and frequently students partner-read those books. \r\n\r\nStudents go home and tell their families about their day. I wanted to take a moment to share how incredibly impactful your generous donation has been in our classroom. Thanks to your support, the students have had the opportunity to engage with exciting new materials, and the results have been truly heartwarming.\r\n\r\nOne of the highlights of your donation has been the Jump Rope into Success Goal-Setting program. The students have fully embraced this challenge and are working hard to improve their jump rope skills. They've set individual goals, as well as a class goal to reach a total of 500 jumps by the end of the school year. When we first started, many students were only able to complete 3-5 jumps, but already, we are seeing huge improvements. The best part is that many students are asking to take their jump ropes outside during recess to practice even more. This shows just how motivated and excited they are to hit their goals!\r\n\r\nIn addition to the jump ropes, the art supplies you provided have had an equally positive impact. The students have loved exploring their creativity with these new materials, and our classroom has transformed into a vibrant space filled with their one-of-a-kind art pieces. One project, in particular, has become a classroom favorite—creating butterflies using coffee filters and liquid watercolors. These beautiful butterflies now fly overhead daily in our classroom, and the students are excited to take them home at the end of the year as a reminder of their hard work.\r\n\r\nThe excitement was palpable when the boxes started arriving! The students were so curious to see what was inside, and during the unboxing, the joy and excitement in the room were contagious. They're also thrilled that they'll be able to take home their jump ropes and water bottles once we're finished using them in class.\r\n\r\nYour donation has brought so much joy, motivation, and creativity into our classroom. The students have gained new skills, and more importantly, they've learned the value of setting and achieving goals while expressing themselves through art. I can't thank you enough for your kindness and generosity. The impact on my students' learning experience has been invaluable, and I'm deeply grateful for your support.","fullyFundedDate":1736990525261,"projectUrl":"project/jump-rope-into-success-goal-setting-thr/9058202/","projectTitle":"Jump Rope Into Success: Goal Setting Through Fitness!","teacherDisplayName":"Ms. Wammer","teacherPhotoUrl":"https://cdn.donorschoose.net/images/placeholder-avatars/272/teacher-placeholder-7_272.png?auto=webp","teacherClassroomUrl":"classroom/9887833"},{"teacherId":4559325,"projectId":8802837,"letterContent":"Thank you so much for donating to my geography learning project. My students love learning about the U.S. and countries all around the world. The large floor map puzzles are a big hit. Students like to assemble them again and again and feel very proud each time. I know the repetition helps them learn the names of the continents, oceans, countries, and states just as it helped me when I was little. They love looking through the atlases and finding places they've been or want to go.\r\n\r\nWe work through one lesson per week in our map skills workbooks. Some aspects of maps we've learned so far include hemispheres of the globe, the cardinal directions, the continents and oceans, understanding lines of longitude and latitude, and the map scale (relative distance on a given map).
