Because of you, our students now have access to tools that make movement, emotional regulation, and social skill-building more engaging and accessible. From the very first day, their excitement was undeniable as their smiles, laughter, and eager participation filled the space as they explored the new equipment. For many of our students, PE can feel overwhelming, but these resources have created a more inclusive and supportive environment where they feel safe, confident, and ready to try.\r\n\r\nWe've already been using the equipment in structured SEL-based activities that focus on teamwork, communication, and self-regulation. One memorable moment was during a cooperative obstacle course, where students practiced taking turns, encouraging peers, and managing frustration. Watching them celebrate each other's successes and work through challenges together was truly powerful. These tools have allowed us to turn physical activity into meaningful life-skill development in a way that meets each student where they are.\r\n\r\nLooking ahead, we're building on this momentum by incorporating the equipment into ongoing lessons that connect movement with emotional awareness such as identifying feelings during activities and practicing calming strategies. We're also planning more group-based challenges to strengthen peer relationships and confidence. Your support has made a lasting impact, and we are so thankful for the opportunities you've created for our students to grow, connect, and thrive.","fullyFundedDate":1766088062818,"projectUrl":"project/selspecial-education-pe-equipment/9626968/","projectTitle":"SEL/Special Education PE.
