If would probably mean I couldn't teach drywall installation. \r\n\r\nHaving six foot levels on hand to help frame walls, make sure joists are flat, or even just an amazing straight edge to scribe a line for cutting... it makes a huge difference in being a builder.\r\n\r\nWhen I started this program, I had to let the students use my six foot level because we didn't have one. Subs would come on site and instead of bringing their ladder with them, they would just grab mine or another carpenters. It was the worst, especially when time is money!\r\n\r\nNow that students have a variety and we have doubles of each, it's just changed the time use in the shop. One key aspect was helping students learn to keep track of their assignments. \r\n\r\nWith this project we were able to give all students a multi pocket folder that they could keep organized for all of their classes.
