Our students—your kids and their classmates in Pre-K through 4th—ran an amazing 13,769 miles together, all during our two daily recesses!\r\nThat's more than halfway around the world, accomplished right here on our playground, one recess lap at a time. No after-school pickup changes, no extra schedules—just built-in fun that gets everyone moving during the breaks they already have.\r\nYour support helped incentivize those recess runs.\r\n We've seen the difference every day: shy kindergartners now leading the pack, friends cheering each other on lap after lap, and teachers noticing how much more focused and positive the kids are in class afterward. Recess isn't just playtime anymore—it's a daily chance to build health, friendships, self-esteem, and that \"I did it!\" feeling.\r\nWe're well into the current school year, and the recess running is still going strong thanks to supporters like you. The stories keep coming: a little one proudly announcing their new personal best at pickup, groups of friends turning recess into their favorite part of the day, and so many Beavers discovering they love to run.\r\nThank you for helping turn our two daily recesses into miles of smiles and growth.
