Because of your contribution, our students now have access to new resources that are already making a meaningful difference in our classroom.\r\n\r\nWe have been using the new chess sets and materials during both club meetings. One memorable moment was when students worked together to analyze a game scenario using the new boards. They practiced strategic thinking, discussed possible moves, and even taught one another new techniques. It was exciting to see students who are usually quiet take on leadership roles and confidently explain their thinking.\r\n\r\nWhen the students first saw the materials, their reactions were immediate; excitement, curiosity, and lots of eager questions. Many of them had never used a full chess set before, and they were thrilled to have their own space to learn and play. The sense of ownership and pride was clear right away.\r\n\r\nAs we move forward, our next steps include building more advanced strategies and hosting friendly competitions within the club. Students are currently working on understanding openings, middle-game tactics, and endgame strategies. We are also encouraging them to reflect on their games and think critically about their decisions, which supports both their problem-solving and perseverance skills.\r\n\r\nYour support has opened the door for these opportunities, and we are truly grateful.
