Your generosity has made such a difference in our classroom, both in big ways and in the little everyday moments that make sixth grade so special.\r\n\r\nI have to start by telling you that the pencil sharpener was an absolute HIT! Apparently, there are few things more exciting to sixth graders than a really cool pencil sharpener. 😊 The Ring Pops were also a huge success and brought plenty of smiles to the classroom. The whiteboards and books have been wonderful additions as well, especially during small-group instruction when I'm able to work more closely with students and give them the extra practice and support they need.\r\n\r\nBut the biggest impact has come from something much simpler: making sure every student has what they need to participate and feel prepared for class. Not every student comes to school with pencils, scissors, or the other basic supplies they need. Because of your donation, I can simply hand a student what they need and keep our learning moving. More importantly, students don't have to feel embarrassed or singled out because they came to class without something. They can just be part of the class.\r\n\r\nThe tissues, paper towels, and hand sanitizer may not be the most exciting items on our list, but anyone who has spent time in a middle school classroom knows just how valuable they are! They have been vital in helping us keep our classroom clean, healthy, and happy—especially during cold and flu season.\r\n\r\nYour donation provided much more than classroom supplies. It helped create a classroom where my students have the materials they need, where they can focus on learning, and where they know they will be taken care of.
