Being at a new school this year has had a lot of challenges and adjustments. Getting used to a new building, a new room, and new students is a lot to handle. I had been able to fund the rug for my previous school and was so heartbroken when I realized the same rug was not here at my new school. \r\n\r\nHaving the carpet has been exciting for my students. Each class came in and exclaimed that they loved the new rug and they all wanted to sit on it. It has been a great tool to teach about the treble clef and other musical notation. It has also helped with transitions immensely for my students and let us have a better flow of activities in class. \r\n\r\nOnce again, thank you for contributing to make this possible. Beginning reader books helped strengthen their literacy skills and foster a lifelong love of reading. The CVC word books gives early readers the chance to practice phonics, blending, and word recognition using simple, three-letter words. These engaging stories make reading fun and approachable, helping students build the confidence and foundational skills needed for future success.\r\n\r\nSensory tools like glitter putty is supporting my students in staying calm, focused, and ready to learn throughout the day. These materials provide a soothing way to manage energy and emotions, allowing for better attention during lessons. Play-Doh and glue sticks will also encourage creativity and build fine motor strength during hands-on activities.
