A teacher membership to "breakoutedu" will allow me to have my students work collaboratively online and in person. This membership will enable my students to communicate, think critically, and use their creativity to problem solve the academic challenges presented to them. Breakoutedu presents the educational standards in a fun escape room game format. I will be able to use this immediately through the assigning of digital games that students play collaboratively with their classmates via an online app. Once we are able to be back in the classroom, the actual kit manipulatives will be utilized by the students in a hands-on setting. There are also schoolwide games that can be played with class against class or grade against grade.
