The supplies we received—Kleenex, paper towels, hand sanitizer, disinfecting wipes, Expo markers, and chair bands—have made a significant impact on both daily routines and student engagement.\r\n\r\nOne of the most noticeable changes has been with the chair bands. My students, especially those who struggle with focus, now have a quiet and constructive way to release energy while staying engaged in lessons. During a recent lesson, I watched a student who often had trouble sitting still bounce their feet against the band while staying completely focused on instruction—it was a small but powerful moment that showed how something so simple can make a big difference.\r\n\r\nWhen the students first saw the supplies, their excitement was undeniable. You wouldn't think tissues and wipes would be thrilling, but to a middle school classroom, they mean comfort and cleanliness, especially during cold season.\r\n\r\nMoving forward, these resources will continue to support our learning goals. The Expo markers have already been put to good use in writing our daily agenda and learning objective, and the disinfecting wipes and hand sanitizer help us maintain a healthy space where students feel safe and cared for.
