Another student, who is just beginning to use words, started labeling colors and shapes during play. These materials have sparked interaction between peers, encouraged turn-taking, and helped build essential fine motor and cognitive skills.\r\n\r\nWe use the toys daily during structured center time, small group instruction, and even as calming tools when students need a sensory break.
