You would have thought it was Christmas in August. Our school resource officer assembled the trampoline while the students waited anxiously. They could not wait to try it out. We took turns allowing each child some personal time to explore the trampoline. They bounced and jumped until they were breathless from laughing and getting all the energy out. \r\n\r\nI have one student who is autistic and as soon as he was in the trampoline he laid on his back and just smiled, it was as if he felt a sudden sense of peace and comfort. He rolled from side to side and I could tell he was instantly calm. He did not want to share when his turn was over. \r\n\r\nWe will use this trampoline for years to come in our Early Childhood Special Education Classroom. We are so appreciative of your generous gift. Most of my students probably do not have anything like this at home and we would not have had it in our classroom if it weren't for you.
