Each student now has their own organized space for materials. Before we had them, supplies were often scattered on desks, lost in cubbies, or misplaced around the room, which wasted valuable learning time. With seat sacks, students know exactly where to keep their folders, notebooks, and tools, which helps them stay prepared and ready to learn. The simple system of having everything within reach has created a smoother daily routine.\r\n\r\nThese seat sacks have also encouraged students to take ownership of their materials. My first graders feel proud to have their own spot to store things, and it has helped them learn responsibility for keeping their belongings neat and organized. This independence has cut down on classroom clutter and made transitions between activities much quicker. Instead of searching for supplies, we're able to focus more on learning, discussions, and hands-on activities.\r\n\r\nOverall, seat sacks have brought order, efficiency, and responsibility into our classroom environment. They have made our space more functional and have allowed me to spend less time managing supplies and more time teaching. The positive impact is clear every day in the way my students are able to stay organized, confident, and ready for whatever the day brings.","fullyFundedDate":1754671718074,"projectUrl":"project/too-long-transition-times-be-gone/9367294/","projectTitle":"Too Long Transition Times Be Gone!","teacherDisplayName":"Ms. Collier","teacherPhotoUrl":"https://cdn.donorschoose.net/images/placeholder-avatars/272/teacher-placeholder-10_272.png?auto=webp","teacherClassroomUrl":"classroom/5904559"}],"pageName":"schoolpage_34251","usesDonorsChoose":true,"infoPageType":"school","demographicsInfo":{"numStudents":683,"numTeachers":62,"percentFrplEligible":46,"percentAsian":0,"percentBlack":14,"percentWhite":61,"percentIndigenous":0,"percentLatinx":9,"showFreeAndReducedPriceLunchInfo":true,"showDemographicsInfo":true,"sourceTooltipString":"the National Center for Education Statistics","gradesServed":"Pre-K - 5","studentTeacherRatio":"11.0:1","demographicsDataSource":"MDR School","equityFocus":true,"titleOne":true,"metroType":"RURAL","ncesMetroType":"RURAL_DISTANT"},"inStateSupporters":75.2,"schoolId":34251,"financialInfo":null,"twitterShareText":"Learn more about King George Elementary School on @DonorsChoose:","schoolName":"King George Elementary School","canonicalPageUrl":"schools/virginia/king-george-county-school-district/king-george-elementary-school/34251"}
