Your donation of safety glasses helped create an authentic and memorable learning experience for our students.\r\n\r\nThe safety glasses were distributed by a local contractor during our Career Day activities. As students entered the \"construction zone,\" they put on their safety glasses and participated in hands-on demonstrations using power tools under the contractor's guidance. Wearing the proper safety equipment made the experience feel real and reinforced the importance of workplace safety in the construction industry. It was incredible to see our students so engaged as they learned directly from a professional in the field.\r\n\r\nWhen the students first received their safety glasses, they were excited and eager to wear them. They immediately felt like they were part of a construction crew and couldn't wait to begin the hands-on activities. One of the best moments was seeing their confidence grow as they safely explored new tools and asked thoughtful questions about a career as a contractor. They were especially excited that they could keep their safety glasses to use during future classroom projects and take them home. For many of our students in a low socioeconomic community, receiving a practical item they could call their own made the experience even more meaningful.\r\n\r\nThank you for investing in our students and helping provide a safe, engaging, and authentic career exploration experience.
