We had about 4 microscopes that had died over the past year. We use these microscopes in several different labs in the Biology I classes and in several labs in the Anatomy & Physiology classes as well.\r\n \r\nLabs include an introduction to using the microscope, looking at different plant and animal cells, looking at mitosis in plants and animals, and looking at different types of tissues. \r\nThanks to your philanthropy, our students have a newer model of microscope to use. The binocular eyepiece has given them some variation as all of our other microscopes only have one ocular. It also has a mechanical stage which makes finding and labeling things under the microscope much easier. \r\nThis scope will be used, loved and appreciated by many students for many years. We all hope you are aware just how grateful we are.
