Because of your contribution, I was able to complete my Breathe For Change training — an experience that has truly been life-changing.\r\n\r\nThroughout the training, I learned powerful strategies that have helped me become the best version of myself, both personally and professionally. These practices have now become a part of my daily routine at work, and I teach them explicitly to the students I serve. It has been incredible to see how these tools not only support my own well-being, but also empower the students to care for themselves and each other.\r\n\r\nOne of the most transformative strategies I've embraced is breathwork. Learning various breathing techniques has had a profound impact on my life, and I'm proud to share that these practices are now part of our school community. We have introduced breathing exercises on our morning news program — and even more inspiring, our students have begun leading these breathing exercises themselves! Watching them take ownership of these practices and seeing the positive ripple effect across our school is one of the greatest highlights of this journey.\r\n\r\nThank you for believing in me and making this opportunity possible. Your support has sparked a meaningful transformation — not only in me, but in the many young lives I am privileged to touch.","fullyFundedDate":1726258425886,"projectUrl":"project/breathe-for-change-our-wellbeing-matter/8394655/","projectTitle":"Breathe for Change: Our Wellbeing Matters!","teacherDisplayName":"Ms. Frattura","teacherPhotoUrl":"https://storage.donorschoose.net/dc_prod/images/teacher/profile/orig/tp6592957_orig.jpg?crop=623,623,x0,y0&width=272&height=272&fit=bounds&auto=webp&t=1715221044989","teacherClassroomUrl":"classroom/6592957"}],"pageName":"schoolpage_33711","usesDonorsChoose":true,"infoPageType":"school","demographicsInfo":{"numStudents":765,"numTeachers":59,"percentFrplEligible":76,"percentAsian":5,"percentBlack":16,"percentWhite":14,"percentIndigenous":0,"percentLatinx":61,"showFreeAndReducedPriceLunchInfo":true,"showDemographicsInfo":true,"sourceTooltipString":"the National Center for Education Statistics","gradesServed":"Pre-K - 6","studentTeacherRatio":"13.0:1","demographicsDataSource":"MDR School","equityFocus":true,"titleOne":true,"metroType":"SUBURBAN","ncesMetroType":"SUBURB_LARGE"},"inStateSupporters":60.8,"schoolId":33711,"financialInfo":null,"twitterShareText":"Learn more about Groveton Elementary School on @DonorsChoose:","schoolName":"Groveton Elementary School","canonicalPageUrl":"schools/virginia/fairfax-county-public-schools/groveton-elementary-school/33711"}
