We have been using them with small groups of 5th graders during library and PE study hall time. Students have been working in pairs to build and program a variety of projects, and the level of engagement has been incredible. One memorable moment was watching students collaborate to design and program their builds, problem-solve together, and celebrate when their creations came to life. When they first saw the kits, their excitement was immediate. They could not wait to get started, and that enthusiasm has continued as they explore, create, and learn through hands-on STEAM experiences.\r\n\r\nLooking ahead, students are continuing to build on their skills by creating more advanced projects with LEGO SPIKE Essentials, strengthening both their engineering and programming abilities. Their excitement has inspired a vision to expand these opportunities even further. I currently have another DonorsChoose project posted to secure a full class set so that even more students can participate in these engaging, collaborative learning experiences.
