They get a job, do it responsibly and they get paid. If they did not do it as expected, they were suspended or lost the job. \r\n\r\nIt taught them the value of responsibility, working hard and self ownership. It broke my heart when I needed to suspend/fired them but that is tough love. They get frustrated but talking to them made them realize that it was their fault. They re-apply and value the work more responsibly.\r\n\r\nThis project is truly a life-changing and it made our relationship stronger. It is worth to continue this it until the last day of school. I will have a part 2. This was my very first funded project. Just like they said, first will always be memorable. \r\n\r\nThe administrators even gave us a shoutout in PA (Public Announcement). They are very excited as well. \r\n\r\nI unboxed it first, then I let some of them do the unboxing. \r\n\r\nThe smiles in their faces are unmeasurable. It is something that I always rewind in my mind and have mark in their heart.\r\n\r\nThe store started even before this project was funded and will continue until the last day of school. \r\n\r\nThe impact will last in a lifetime.\r\n\r\nAgain, Maraming maraming salamat po!
