We were in the middle of another unit, so I was looking for a reason to use our new equipment. While playing a tag game that our CBased kids couldn't play, I offered the scooters to the teachers of the kids who didn't play tag. It was amazing. We've had this group of kids ride scooters in the past, but these scooters were a bit taller, and they were so smooth. It was amazing to see this particular group of high needs kids having a great time. They were able to maneuver the scooters around the gym with ease. The new scooters have become the new go-to activity for our kids who can't access the regular PE curriculum.\r\n\r\nLater in the week, I had a small group of fifth graders who had already finished work take them out for a test ride.
