Flexible seating creates a comfortable learning environment that helps meet the needs of students. During the independent reading time, students are able to find a learning space that works for them. Currently, there are limited options in the classroom, including traditional chairs and the bar floor. I want to give my students the opportunity to explore different places in the classroom to comfortably read and write. I believe that when a child is comfortable they are more motivated to learn. How many adults choose to sit at a desk to feel comfortable when reading? My guess is very few! So how come we ask children to sit in chairs when they are just learning how to read? The products that I have chosen, allow students to leave their traditional desks and explore other areas of the classroom to learn! I want students to feel most comfortable so they can thrive in the classroom!
