They have loved exploring and experimenting with the materials provided through DonorsChoose. Their eyes lit up when we used the fans to see how pushes and pulls affect motion. They felt so grown-up using stopwatches to measure big and small forces. At our Fall Festival, our budding scientists used the donated scales to weigh and compare pumpkins in our very own school pumpkin patch.\r\nLooking ahead to our next unit on Light and Shadows, the flashlights will help our scientists understand how shadows are formed. In the spring, the birdseed and assorted animals will support our unit on animals and living things.\r\nYour financial support is deeply appreciated and is helping our young scientists grow, explore, and develop a lifelong love of learning.
