I received my supplies today - Dec 3, 2025 - and my student teacher already began to experiment with the PocketLab sensors. We are excited to get these into the hands of students for future learning next year and in playing with forces in our current unit.\r\n\r\nWithin a few days, I turned the devices over to some students in my classes who had finished up work early. I gave them the devices to test out and collect data on them. It was great! They were engaged with moving the Voyager sensors around, sliding them across their desks, and learning about X,Y,Z coordinate systems. \r\n\r\nWinooski High School is over 65% minority enrollment, and 85% of students are economically disadvantaged. Additionally over 30 languages are spoken by our students and families who are New Americans in the community.
