We have already used them a few times this year, once to look at tiny rocks, and again to look at leaves, pine cones, blades of grass, anything we could find on our playground to study how different object look when using tools other than your naked eye! We also used them for a science lesson on types of trees/leaves we have in Vermont.\r\n\r\n I have big plans for these stereoscopes, especially as fall is settling into Vermont and we are noticing our outdoor foliage dramatically changing. We learned about how leaves change color, and why, and we are going to use our leaves on our school property to investigate if we are noticing the changes in the leaves and chlorophyll leaving the leaves as the trees start to ready themselves for winter. The students have loved learning about nature, and the stereoscopes have given them a chance to examine that nature so much more closely.\r\n\r\n Thank you all so much for your help, your kind words, and your gift to my classroom.
