We have created a \"campsite\" area with the woodland rug, and the \"big blue rug\" has been put to good use in our circle area. \r\n\r\nThe colorful pattern of the blue rug has really brightened up the room and we have received many compliments on it. Students in particular were so excited to see it when it arrived. It is placed right in the center of the room with our tables surrounding it, and serves as a meeting space for class discussions, demonstrations, games, lessons and directions. There are 24 large circles that at serve as spaces for students to sit. It has truly become the heart of our classroom!\r\n\r\nWe use it during all parts of the day when we sit on the rug for lessons or directions or to play games. The large circles on the rug help students know where to sit and helps them keep their bodies in their own space.
