Students started the year by experimenting with squeegee paint. They used squeegees and scrappers to move paint instead of paint brushes. We learned a lot about color and layering through this process. \r\nFirst and second grade students are learning about primary, secondary and complimentary colors through painting. Students are calm and focused whule painting and seem to really enjoy the process of painting carefully and filling their paper. \r\nFifth grade has been creating cardboard machines to solve a simple problem in their lives; feeding the cat, holding a controller, staying cool with a custom fan. They are starting to paint their cardboard machines this week. \r\nWith this tempera paint donation we have all colors and enough paint to keep painting all year with all grades.
