The Ergo Bounce Chairs have been especially exciting because they give students a comfortable seating option while allowing them to move a little as they work. The new seats have really helped those students that need extra movement options with their 504 accommodations. The privacy folders help students stay focused during independent work and assessments, while the dry erase boards give us a fun and easy way to practice skills, show our thinking, and quickly check for understanding. Even the glue sticks and Kleenex are classroom essentials that we use regularly throughout the school year. These supplies may seem simple, but together they make a big difference in our classroom. \r\n\r\nThe students were very excited to see the new materials! The Ergo Bounce Chairs were definitely a favorite. They were eager to try them out and loved having a new seating option. The dry erase boards also quickly became a favorite because students enjoy being able to write, erase, and try again without worrying about making mistakes. It was fun to see their excitement over supplies that help make our everyday learning more engaging.\r\n\r\nWe will continue using these resources throughout the year as we work through our sixth-grade curriculum. Students will use the dry erase boards for math, science, and review activities, and the privacy folders will help them stay focused during independent assignments and assessments. The flexible seating will give students another option for finding a comfortable way to learn and stay engaged. We have many lessons, activities, and projects ahead, and these resources will be used again and again. I am so grateful to the donors who helped provide these supplies and make our classroom a more comfortable, engaging, and successful place for students to learn! \r\n\r\nFuture Project/Donations: One of our upcoming Social Studies projects will take students back to ancient Mesopotamia, where they will learn about the purpose and importance of ziggurats. We will be asking for donations of popsicle sticks so students can design and build their own ziggurats. We had so much stuff purchased for a successful school year. We will have a more creative, focused, and impactful school year thank to you. \r\n\r\nThe look on my students faces when all of it arrived was just pure joy and excitement. They helped unbox it all and wanted to start using everything right away. That joy and excitement is completely thanks to you. \r\n\r\nEvery item you help provide has an impact. A new resource can spark curiosity. A classroom material can make a difficult concept easier to understand. An engaging activity can turn an ordinary school day into a memorable learning experience. Most importantly, your support reminds our students that there are people who believe in them and want to see them succeed.\r\n\r\nAs a teacher, I am incredibly grateful to have the support of people who recognize the importance of investing in education. Because of you, our students have had the chance to bring their learning to life in creative and meaningful ways.\r\n\r\nWe first used the new resources during a fun literacy activity connected to Green Eggs and Ham. Students designed and built their own imaginative creations showing where they would eat green eggs and ham. It was incredible to see their creativity take off as they planned, constructed, and shared their ideas. We then used the materials again to create scenery for our upcoming class opera. Students worked together to design and build pieces that help tell the story, turning our classroom into a stage full of color and imagination.\r\n\r\nWhen the students first saw the materials, their excitement was immediate and contagious. There were smiles, wide eyes, and lots of eager questions about what they could create. They were highly engaged from the very start and couldn't wait to begin building. The materials inspired collaboration, problem-solving, and a sense of pride in their work.\r\n\r\nNext, we will continue using these resources as part of our current projects, including completing our opera performance and exploring more hands-on STEM and literacy activities. Students will keep building, creating, and working together to bring their ideas to life. These materials will remain an important part of our classroom as we encourage creativity, teamwork, and a love of learning.\r\n\r\nThank you again for making these experiences possible for our students.
