Your support has made a tangible and immediate impact on our students' learning environment and their understanding of key concepts. These new tools are essential learning aids that have fundamentally changed how our students approach numbers and engagement as well as a more functional and organized classroom. \r\n The ten frames have been invaluable for developing strong number sense and building mental math fact fluency. As research shows, students learn significantly better with hands-on manipulatives. Students are now better able to instantly recognize quantities up to twenty without counting. The ten frames provide a visual anchor for understanding the relationships that make ten (7 + 3 = 10), which is a crucial skill for building addition and subtraction fluency and a solid foundation for place value. \r\n The spinning wheel has introduced an element of fun and excitement to our positive behavior system. It is a fantastic visual motivator that we use every Friday to allow the team with the most points to spin and earn a class prize. We have also successfully integrated it into various games and learning activities.\r\n The new speaker has been a huge improvement! It has solved the problem of students struggling to hear over our incredibly loud heating and air system. I am now able to place it strategically around the room to ensure every student can clearly hear our online stories, educational videos, and lessons that utilize the computer. \r\n The magnetic roll and laminating paper have been incredibly helpful with classroom organization, leading to smoother transitions and a more focused learning environment. I have been able to create a durable, laminated daily schedule that stays securely on the white board using the magnets. Because our schedule frequently changes, the ability to quickly and easily update the magnetic schedule saves valuable time and minimizes daily stress. I used the supplies to create laminated, magnetic name labels for every student. Each morning, students move their magnetic name label to indicate whether they are having school or home lunch, making those daily counts instantaneous and much more efficient. These organizational improvements contribute directly to a cleaner, calmer classroom where students can focus better.\r\n We look forward to incorporating the new recess balls soon. We are currently working to acquire the correct inflation needles so I can fill them up using my pump at home. These will be wonderful for indoor recess when the weather is too cold or wet, allowing the students to have a fun and constructive activity in the classroom. \r\nThank you once again for your incredible investment in our students' education and growth!","fullyFundedDate":1756936991322,"projectUrl":"project/usbe-ai-for-k12-education/9633788/","projectTitle":"USBE AI for K–12 Education","teacherDisplayName":"Ms. Kelsey","teacherPhotoUrl":"https://cdn.donorschoose.net/images/placeholder-avatars/272/teacher-placeholder-7_272.png?auto=webp","teacherClassroomUrl":"classroom/10204112"},{"teacherId":10076813,"projectId":9458465,"letterContent":"Thank you so much for your generous support of our project, Loving Literacy and Logic! The books have added wonderful diversity and excitement to our classroom library, sparking curiosity and engagement in readers who don't always enjoy picking up a book. It's been such a joy to see students explore new genres and connect with stories that reflect a variety of interests.\r\n\r\nThe STEM games have also been a huge hit! They make math centers and indoor recess both fun and educational, allowing students to think critically, collaborate, and build problem-solving skills. These activities have quickly become classroom favorites and have truly enhanced our learning environment.\r\n\r\nYour kindness and generosity have made a meaningful difference in our classroom.
