They love that Color Sticks don't break like crayons and don't require sharpening like colored pencils—perfect for fast-paced STEM creativity.\r\n\r\nWe've used them to design working paper circuits, sketch and decorate Thanksgiving parade floats, label engineering diagrams, and plan daily design challenges. Lenny especially loves the hiding tunnels, and we enjoy watching her peek out at us as we do our classwork.\r\nIt has been really great to have class pets, especially ones a cool and rare as axolotls. Our class has talked about how axolotls are an endangered species and what that means. We have gained an appreciation for rare creatures and a desire to help them thrive in a world that we share.\r\nOur axolotls have become popular throughout the school, and several children of other grades pop in each week to see them.
