My students were amazed when they saw all the new resources enter our classroom. The idea that people providing them things that they can use in their classroom brought out a sparkle in all their eyes. Your generous donation allowed my students to enhance their learning and see the reading unit topics in another light. We recently worked on two units in our reading curriculum that focused on the human body and the history of the earth. These two units were very intriguing for my first graders. With the new resources donated we spent two days within each unit exploring the human body deeper and using the volcano kits to explore the process of how a volcano explodes. With the human body review day I transformed by classroom into a hospital/surgical room. Where the students got to use the new resources.\r\n\r\nWe still have four more units in our reading program so the other resources provided will aid those future units.
