This is our first year using the program, and my students and I have been so impressed by all of the features that it offers. For my students, spelling and vocabulary work has become so fun and engaging! They were so excited to see the lamination pouches and glue sticks. This will provide all students with two more glue sticks as the need arises. The lamination pouches will allow me to laminate their art for each month of the year. When my students heard that they would be receiving brand new headphones, they were elated! However, the depth of their astonishment and gratitude increased when they learned that the headphones had come from donors, rather than their teacher. They were amazed that individuals around the world would take the time to find our project and support our class needs. As I teacher, I am grateful for this experience as it has taught my students an important lesson about giving to others who are in need.\r\n\r\nNow that our headphones have arrived, we have begun to use them in every and any way possible in our classroom! Some examples of the way that we have used them are: studying for and taking our weekly spelling tests, listening to instructional videos in all subjects, participating in online writing tutorials, and so much more. Furthermore, our headphones have allowed us to be a bit more focused during classwork as they contribute to a quiet, engaged, and productive classroom atmosphere.\r\n\r\nThese headphones have been a remarkable gift to my students and I this school year. However, one of my favorite aspects of this project is the way you have provided for my students not just this year, but for years to come. These headphones will be a gift that keeps on giving for all of the students that I will have the opportunity to teach, present and future. Thank you so much for helping my student learn about Science and Social Studies topics with these great magazines. \r\n\r\nThe Let's Find Out magazine includes great videos to explain the topics being taught. My students love watching and learning from the videos. After watching the video, we read the magazine together. The children point and follow with me and we echo read together. As kindergarteners, they are learning to track words and sentences with their fingers and sound out and recognize simple words. The magazines help them with these reading skills. \r\n\r\nAnother great thing about the Let's Find Out magazine is that it has an interactive game for my students to participate in on our large View Board. They love the games! They are fun and educational. There are also great resources for me, as their teacher, to extend the lessons throughout the week. In fact, my students love the interactive games so much, they ask to play them more than once.
