Then the first crack appeared. Those babies changed our lives! We learned how to nourish them. We experienced a loss. The students checked on the Lady Bugs every day and when it was time to release them, we took them to our garden bed where we had planted Pollinator Plants. It was exciting to see them crawl and then fly.\r\n\r\nThe Ant Farm was everything I'd hoped it would be! The ants got busy straightaway and dug some amazing tunnels. We got to observe their work, and see what they did when one of them died. It was fun to see them make their environment suite their needs.\r\n\r\nThe Bee House was an exciting success!
