We have already been putting the birthday cards, books, whiteboard, and magnetic clips to good use.\r\n\r\nOne of my favorite ways I have been using the materials is with a second-grade student who is currently reading at about a preschool level. I have been putting together a special reading project for her using the books, whiteboard, and magnetic clips. We are working on letters, sounds, sight words, and putting words together to build her reading skills. Having these hands-on materials makes our reading time more fun and keeps her engaged.\r\n\r\nIt has been so rewarding to see her get excited when she recognizes a word or is able to read something that she couldn't before. The books especially give her a chance to practice reading at her level and feel successful, which is so important for building her confidence.\r\n\r\nThe birthday cards will also be a fun way for me to celebrate my students and make them feel special on their birthdays. These supplies may seem simple, but they have made a big difference in what I am able to do in my classroom.\r\n\r\nThank you again for supporting my classroom and my students! Your generosity is helping me give my students the extra support and encouragement they need to learn and grow.","fullyFundedDate":1786043816058,"projectUrl":"project/taylors-2nd-grade-project/10435430/","projectTitle":"Taylor's 2nd grade Project","teacherDisplayName":"Ms. Steed","teacherPhotoUrl":"https://cdn.donorschoose.net/images/placeholder-avatars/272/teacher-placeholder-4_272.png?auto=webp","teacherClassroomUrl":"classroom/10573786"},{"teacherId":10578948,"projectId":10453773,"letterContent":"Thank you so much for funding the materials for my project!
