Once they were built students were able to use them when they finished their work to play with a friend or on their own. Their imaginations came to life! \r\nI had a couple of tricky behaviors, and the Legos surprised me when they were a great incentive for good behavior! When students track the words, their fluency increases as well as their comprehension. It also helps each student with enhancing their word recognition. As students track, they also learn natural pacing, inflection, and voice tone/expression. We are excited to have sanitizing wipes to use at the end of the day instead of the \"stinky\" spray and paper towels to clean our desks. I have been able to teach students the importance of being respectful, what kindness looks like, and how to allow others think time instead of just shouting the answer out. We have excellent discussions that help facilitate making connections in their lives. Our classroom is an exciting place where everyone has the opportunity to learn.
