Script analysis is the essential foundational skill for all theatrical work that is based on text including all the traditional plays and musical theatre performances that are most common for performers and audiences alike. Being able to have options for my students to ethically access scripts has been very helpful in their practicing facility with language, identifying and expressing theme and character. They've enjoyed being able to select scripts of their interest from a group of options and having enough copies to be able to read aloud in groups with classmates. Reading a script to yourself is very divorced from the authentic experience for which these texts are intended.\r\n\r\nWe are so grateful that you have made this important artistic and analytical process more possible in our classroom. Students enjoyed meeting contemporary and classic scripts together and then sharing what they had learned with other groups, who then often went to read the scripts other peers had talked about. We keep these supplies in a neatly organized drawer system. Students are grateful to have these supplies and appreciate it when their instrument is working properly. \r\n\r\nThese supplies will keep many instruments maintained for many years to come.
