Many of them walked in, stopped mid-stride, and said, \"Are those for us?\" The very first day we used Countdown and Prime Climb during our Building Thinking Classroom warm-ups, the room filled with collaboration, problem-solving talk, and joyful competition. Students who often hesitate in math class were suddenly leading their small groups, explaining strategies, and discovering new ways to reason with numbers. These resources have already become a core part of how we build confidence and fluency—without it ever feeling like a worksheet.\r\n\r\nOne of my favorite moments came when a student who usually avoids participating shouted across the room, \"Wait—I get this! Watch what happens if we multiply instead!\" Their teammates leaned in, asked questions, and the group took off from there. Moments like this are exactly why these materials matter: they create low-floor, high-ceiling opportunities for students at every level to engage meaningfully in mathematics. Because the games are durable, inviting, and endlessly adaptable, they've given students a way to practice skills through authentic play rather than pressure.\r\n\r\nAs we move forward, these resources will be used during skill-builder rotations, math lab interventions, and our daily deep-thinking tasks. Students are already requesting specific games during our review days and asking to check them out during advisory. Thanks to your generosity, my classroom now has tools that bring mathematics to life—helping students strengthen fluency, communicate their thinking, and experience math as something joyful. We are incredibly grateful for your support and excited to continue using these materials all year long.","fullyFundedDate":1756310851923,"projectUrl":"project/ready-set-learn-equipping-a-brand-new/9597641/","projectTitle":"Ready, Set, Learn: Equipping a Brand-New Classroom","teacherDisplayName":"Mrs. Burt","teacherPhotoUrl":"https://storage.donorschoose.net/dc_prod/images/teacher/profile/orig/tp7469162_orig.png?crop=600,600,x0,y0&width=272&height=272&fit=bounds&auto=webp&t=1598027785718","teacherClassroomUrl":"classroom/mrsburtsclassroom"},{"teacherId":476919,"projectId":9601000,"letterContent":"Thank you so much for donating to my classroom project. Having access to supplies such as wobble stools and computer mice allows me to create a more accessible, comfortable, and engaging space for all learners—especially my resource students, who benefit greatly from tools that support focus, movement, and independence. The flexible-seating options—saucer chairs, donut seats, and floor cushions—have given my students the freedom to choose where they learn best. One of my favorite moments happened during our narrative-writing unit: students naturally spread into small clusters around the room, curled into chairs or seated on cushions with clipboards, discussing their story ideas like a team of young authors at a workshop. The interactive games you provided—Boggle, word games, and magnet poetry—have quickly become our go-to warm-ups and literacy stations. The room now buzzes with energy as students challenge each other, build vocabulary, and explore language in creative ways.\r\n\r\nTheir reactions when the materials first arrived were priceless. Students walked in and immediately gravitated toward the new seating, asking, \"Is this really for us?\" and \"Can we use these today?\" The games sparked just as much excitement; even my most hesitant readers dove in eagerly, especially during our first magnet-poetry challenge, where they raced to create the most surprising poem.\r\n\r\nWe're now building on that enthusiasm as we move into our next ELA projects. Students are using the flexible seating and word-based games to support small-group reading discussions, vocabulary review, and writing workshops. These tools are helping them stay engaged, collaborate more naturally, and feel proud of their learning environment. Your support didn't just add materials to our classroom—it elevated our community and expanded what learning looks and feels like for my students. Thank you for believing in them.","fullyFundedDate":1756161675845,"projectUrl":"project/creating-an-engaging-student-centered-r/9632285/","projectTitle":"Creating an Engaging, Student-Centered Reading and Writing Environment","teacherDisplayName":"Mrs. Creel","teacherPhotoUrl":"https://storage.donorschoose.net/dc_prod/images/teacher/profile/orig/tp10200394_orig.jpg?crop=2316,2316,x0,y0&width=272&height=272&fit=bounds&auto=webp&t=1755714033174","teacherClassroomUrl":"classroom/10200394"},{"teacherId":7572048,"projectId":9596992,"letterContent":"Thanks to your generous donation, our classroom received Microbits, LEGO kits, and math blocks that have transformed the way my students learn and engage with STEM concepts. Students were so excited to use the materials to learn.\r\n\r\nThe Microbits have opened hands-on opportunities for students to explore coding, electronics, and problem-solving in a tangible way. They've learned how to write programs that make lights flash, sensors react, and data display, bridging the gap between abstract coding concepts and real-world applications. Students who were once intimidated by programming now light up (literally and figuratively!) when they see their code come to life.\r\n\r\nThe LEGO sets have been instrumental in introducing engineering and design thinking. Students collaborate to build prototypes, test ideas, and refine their designs, learning perseverance and teamwork in the process. The creative freedom they have with LEGOs has made even reluctant learners eager to participate and share their designs.\r\n\r\nThe math blocks have strengthened foundational problem-solving and spatial reasoning skills, giving students a tactile way to understand patterns, ratios, and logic. They've been especially valuable for visual and kinesthetic learners who thrive when they can manipulate objects to explore concepts.\r\n\r\nAltogether, these materials have brought learning to life in my classroom. My students are not just learning about technology and engineering, they're doing it. Your support has made our lessons more engaging, more collaborative, and far more memorable. Thank you for helping my students discover the joy of creating, experimenting, and thinking like engineers.","fullyFundedDate":1755709323044,"projectUrl":"project/hands-on-stem-learning-with-magnetic-til/9596992/","projectTitle":"Hands-On STEM Learning with Magnetic Tiles and Math Cubes","teacherDisplayName":"Mrs. Baughman","teacherPhotoUrl":"https://storage.donorschoose.net/dc_prod/images/teacher/profile/orig/tp7572048_orig.jpg?crop=2403,2404,x0,y0&width=272&height=272&fit=bounds&auto=webp&t=1755200208969","teacherClassroomUrl":"classroom/7572048"},{"teacherId":10214021,"projectId":9638764,"letterContent":"The collaboration materials have been in use for a couple of weeks now. Students participated in a hexagonal thinking activity with a partner. The students had to develop two claims and use evidence to support the claims. Doing so in an interactive and physical way was engaging for students and helped them visualize their work.\r\n\r\n\r\nWe use the dry erase markers and microfiber cloths for bell ringers and other think, see, wonder activities.
