We randomly choose students to have a turn with them at the beginning of the day and everyone is so excited for the chance to use them. No one is letting me forget to do our daily drawing for seating choices. The enthusiasm from my whole class makes me want to gradually purchase a few more of these great wobble chairs.\r\n\r\nI especially love that my most wiggly students can sit and rock quietly while still doing their work. I have seen more focus during small and large group reading, while working on independent work in math and writing, and while listening to instructions. \r\n\r\nAnother added bonus that I was pleasnatly surprised with, is the way students stop playing with things in their desk as a distraction. Quiet wobbling on a stool seems to keep them occupied enough that the temptation to play with items in their desk is minimized. This is a wonderful addition to our classroom. I had about 2/3 or my desks with the bands already from a previous grant, but when the students without bands saw that the Bouncy Bands were installed on their desk, they were so very excited to try them out. \r\n\r\nUsing Bouncy Bands on student desks makes it much simpler to help students stay seated in best learning position for focus during instruction as well as independant work time. It quickly equalizes each desk and boost of movement possibilities to every student.
