The new headphones allow students to listen to reading passages, instructional videos, and other digital learning activities without distracting those around them. This has been especially helpful during independent work and assessments, when students need to work at their own pace and focus on what they are hearing.\r\n\r\nMy students were especially excited about having reliable headphones that are available whenever they need them. They love being able to use technology independently, and I have seen students become more focused and confident when they can listen to directions or content again when needed. Students who benefit from hearing information in addition to reading it have especially embraced the headphones because they can access learning in a way that better supports them.\r\n\r\nThe new laminator has also been an incredible tool for our classroom. It allows me to create durable learning resources, task cards, reference materials, and hands-on activities that students can use again and again. Together, these resources are helping me provide students with more engaging, accessible, and differentiated learning opportunities while making our classroom materials last!","fullyFundedDate":1786299676137,"projectUrl":"project/listening-lamination/10449382/","projectTitle":"Listening & Lamination","teacherDisplayName":"Ms. Wade","teacherPhotoUrl":"https://cdn.donorschoose.net/images/placeholder-avatars/272/teacher-placeholder-10_272.png?auto=webp","teacherClassroomUrl":"classroom/2475639"},{"teacherId":2475639,"projectId":10462985,"letterContent":"The resources from our \"A Place for Everything and a Seat for Everyone\" project have already become an important part of our classroom! The new seating options give students comfortable places to work independently, with partners, or in small groups, while the storage and organization materials help us keep our classroom supplies accessible and ready for learning. One of my favorite moments has been seeing students grab a seat and find the perfect spot to work with a partner during reading and writing activities. They love having the opportunity to choose a space that works best for them.\r\n\r\nWhen my students first saw the new materials, they were incredibly excited! They could not wait to try out the different seating choices, and they quickly noticed the new ways our classroom materials were organized. It has been wonderful to see them take more ownership of our classroom space by independently getting what they need, using it responsibly, and returning it when they are finished.\r\n\r\nAs we continue through the year, these resources will support so many areas of our learning. Students will use our flexible spaces for small-group reading, collaborative math problem-solving, writing projects, science investigations, and more. The chairs have even helped one of my students sit at her desk as she now gets to choose to sit in the yellow cube chair or her normal chair which provides her choice. \r\n\r\nMy students also love the Legos to go along with our building table.
