Your support may seem simple, but these everyday materials make a tremendous difference in the learning environment we are able to provide for our students. A successful music classroom requires much more than instruments alone. Students need pencils, paper, folders, writing materials, organizational supplies, music-specific classroom materials, and countless other resources to participate fully in daily lessons. Your generosity helps ensure that our students have access to the supplies they need when they need them, allowing us to spend less time worrying about limited resources and more time creating meaningful musical experiences. Because of your kindness, students can come to music class prepared to learn, create, collaborate, perform, and explore their musical abilities in a welcoming and well-equipped environment. Your contribution also helps us stretch our classroom resources further, allowing available school funds to support other important needs while your donation provides the foundational supplies that keep our classroom running smoothly.\r\n\r\nThank you for helping us give our students the tools they need to learn, grow, and make music!","fullyFundedDate":1786541708994,"projectUrl":"project/refresh-replenish/10254984/","projectTitle":"Refresh & Replenish","teacherDisplayName":"Mrs. Rond","teacherPhotoUrl":"https://storage.donorschoose.net/dc_prod/images/teacher/profile/orig/tp1245321_orig.jpg?crop=1:1,smart&width=272&height=272&fit=bounds&auto=webp&t=1565224441463","teacherClassroomUrl":"classroom/mrsrond"},{"teacherId":1245321,"projectId":10404491,"letterContent":"Thank you for supporting music education and my class in particular! In my experience teaching music, students can get bored of the same information being repeated every week. I am always looking for ways to practice musical concepts over and over again, while tricking their brains into thinking they are doing something new by changing up the games and activities. When students walked in last week and saw jenga sets sitting in the front of the room, they were immediately intrigued and started excitedly asking \"what are we doing today??\" It kept them on edge, and willing to work through our review session so they could maximize game time. \r\n\r\nI wrote out some rhythm patterns on each block. The class was divided into 4 groups, and every time it was someone's turn to pull the block, they had to read the pattern before placing it back on top. This was such an effective game because their accuracy did not determine whether they won or lost, making it a fun game for students at all levels. Additionally, when a student read one wrong, I could hear their teammates politely correcting them, and all giggling as the tower got closer to falling. Activities like this are what keeps school magical for our youngest musicians.
