Students were highly engaged and excited to practice a skill that many had never experienced before.\r\n\r\nThe equipment allowed students of all ability levels to participate, experience success, and challenge themselves to improve with each cast. In addition to physical skills, students practiced patience, perseverance, following directions, and encouraging their classmates. It was exciting to watch their confidence grow as their accuracy improved.\r\n\r\nMost importantly, this project provided another way to show students that physical education can introduce them to enjoyable activities they can continue outside of school.
